There is nothing half so much worth doing as messing about with bulbs. Indoors or outdoors it doesn't matter.

Gosh, Tom Hart Dyke talking about Victorians and bringing plants indoors and choosing regardless of what's in fashion and not a mention of forcing bulbs!
