I tried to take a photo of each hyacinth at its peak although I didn't always catch them at the right time. I made some notes at the time I observed the flowers in bloom. I have given each a rating of "poor", "poor/ok", "ok" or "good" making it easier to make comparisons and calculate an average. At first I just had "poor", "ok" and "good" but I was judging some as "poor" that had in fact bloomed so I thought I had to give them a slightly better rating if they bloomed even if I thought the resulting flower was poor.
I've noted the date the flower was in full bloom. Unless otherwise noted, they were started the 11th to 16th of September.
Overall this is not an impressive group of hyacinths and neither suppliers' bulbs are noticeably better than the other. I judge Carnegie to be a "poor/ok" performer. The Bloms Carnegie bulbs were "poor/ok" on average and the Parkers were barely "ok". I don't think there's much difference between the two.
